CONTRASTS AND CONNECTIONS- Discovering the Past

Contrasts and Connections is an innovative and comprehensive Year 7 National Curriculum History course designed by the Schools History Project. This book covers the core study unit Medieval Realms, drawing out genuine historical issue and controversies to make for a truly original approach to the core content. In addition it incorporates to supplementary study units: - The Roman Empire - Islamic Civilizations which both contrasts and connect with the content of the core unit. This pathway through Y7 odds up to a culturally balanced and coherent scheme of work for the first year of Key Stage 3.
